Scaling the Heights with Year 5
As part of Science Week, during Maths, Year 5 conducted an anonymous study to test if there was a close correlation between a person’s height and arm span.
In groups, the children took it in turns to carry out the measurements before using the data to complete a scatter graph. They all engaged wholeheartedly, and were amazed to learn that their investigations concluded that there is a positive correlation between height and arm span.
