Spring Performing Arts Concert
Children from Reception to Year 6 performed magnificently this week at our Spring Concert.
Another fabulous performance from our children in Reception to Year 6 this week, in front of a full house, at our Spring Performing Arts Concert. It was a delight to welcome so many of our families and friends back into school to enjoy and celebrate an afternoon of performance and creativity.
Songs, poetry, drama, gymnastics, dance and instrumental pieces were all performed under the umbrella of our whole school theme this term, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.
Children performed songs from around the world and poems which delivered important messages about being kind and treating others fairly and equally. Each performance demonstrated how the children’s learning experiences had been enriched using cross curricular activities and performing in a range of media.
The strength and breadth of talent shown throughout the concert was excellent. From our very youngest performers who danced and sang their way into our hearts, to the older children who chose some very sophisticated ways to share, not only their talents, but also their message of hope and equality.
