Chess Champion

Huge congratulations to our Year 3 Chess Champion, Alexei, who represented Avalon School with the U9's Merseyside Primary Schools Chess Team recently. The team were very successful at the Northern Counties Zonal and have now qualified for the EPSCA National Inter-Association Finals in Oxford on 23rd April. It will be a tough competition against the most talented Under 9's in the country. We wish Alexei and the team lots of luck and look forward to hearing how they get on!
