Electrical Circuit Investigators!

Year 4 had a fantastic practical science lesson investigating electrical circuits. The children enjoyed building circuits to make a bulb light, a motor spin and a buzzer sound.

The children also stretched their knowledge to discover that adding more batteries would make a bulb brighter, whereas adding more bulbs would make the bulbs dimmer.

They were able to talk about how the power being shared between two bulbs meant that there was less electrical energy going to each bulb.

The children worked together in pairs and showed good listening and turn taking skills.
