Battle of the Glue Sticks with Year 4
Mrs Evans set the children in Year 4 a challenge to help in deciding which glue stick would be the best to use across the school.
The children were given 3 different glue sticks to test;
U-fill (Orange Top) Value, this can be refilled so helps reduce waste.
U-fill (Yellow Top) Strong, this can be refilled so helps reduce waste.
Pritt Stick
Year 4’s challenge was to use the glue sticks over the last half term to determine which was the stickiest, which lasted the longest and which was the best value for money.
Children created posters with star ratings together with the pros and cons for each of the glue sticks. They then presented their finding to Mrs Evans. Overall, it was decided that the U-Fill Strong glue would be the best option. Amazing use of scientific investigation, maths and presentation skills. Thank you Year 4!
