The Parent/Teacher Association…
Avalon is fortunate in having a very involved and vigorous PTA that runs a large range of social and fundraising events for the school and which serves as a forum for the discussion of a range of school issues. The regular programme of PTA activities includes the Christmas and summer fairs, the hog roast and the termly school discos. In recent times, the association has raised funds to completely refurbish the art and design studio and currently has ambitious plans to develop a range of new playground facilities The committee meets two or three times a term, with an AGM in March and new members are always welcome.
