Avalon School participates in the Early Years’ Funding entitlement and offers the full 15 hours’ entitlement per week at an allocation of one 3 hour session available per day.

All fees are payable on a termly basis. Payment is due on the first day of each term. Monthly payment by direct debit, over 9 months, is available from September at a surcharge of 2%

Family Discounts. For a parent with two or more children, with at least one child attending the main school, the following discounts will apply; there will be a 10% reduction in the fees for the second child, any third or subsequent children will receive a 20% discount on tuition fees.

A full term’s written notice is required on or before the first day of a term at the end of which a pupil is to be removed. A full term’s written notice is also required for any pupil who is registered to join the school and who subsequently does not take up a place. Otherwise a full term’s fees must be paid in lieu of notice. Such notice will be acknowledged in writing and parents or carers are advised that only such acknowledgement constitutes acceptance.

Financial assistance and bursaries We do not wish any parent to be deterred from applying to Avalon because of financial considerations. Avalon is a small school with limited scope for financial support. It is our policy, however, to try and give what support we can where the need arises. A form for requesting financial assistance is available from the school office.
