Entrance Requirements

Many children entering our Reception Class come from our own School Nursery but we also welcome a number who are new to the School. Older children may be admitted into any year group in the School if space allows. Children of all ages are invited to spend a day with their prospective classes before they join so they can feel comfortable with their environment. For older children we also ask for a report from their current school before confirming the offer of a place. At Avalon, we welcome children with a wide range of talents and interests as long as we are confident that they will be happy and can cope with the curriculum we offer.
